BIG KIDS Pony Club Session – 13/09/2026

£25.00

Unmounted session at Shrivenham Equestrian Centre 12:00-13:45 for our older participants, who are wanting a more grown up session, with both social opportunities and learning opportunities.

Activities will be tailored towards those booking on and their needs. There is no upper age limit for these sessions, but suggest that the minimum age limit for these sessions is 14+. Please speak to Alice if you have any questions.

Planned activities for September are:

  • Make homemade treats
  • All about equine digestion and feeding… how will those treats affect your horse’s tummy?
  • Learn how to plait manes and tails, ready for competitions next year!

Parents and carers are welcome to stay on site if they wish, but we do ask that they stay separate to the activities. You are also welcome to leave and come back for pick up. For any participants with toileting needs, we do ask that a parent or carer stay to assist with toileting.

Participants who are also registered volunteers with a full green card are welcome to stay after the session to help volunteer, please let Alice know if you would like to do this.

These sessions are held at Shrivenham Equestrian Centre but are open to AIM riders from all venues. Due to the centre being based on a military site, names of all over 16s will need to be provided 72 hours in advance, and valid photo ID must be presented on entry to the site. Please email all names needing access to chair@aimrda.co.uk. No dogs are allowed on site.

Cancellations are refundable minus a £1 admin fee where 72 hours or more notice is given. Cancellations with less notice than this are fully chargeable. Cancellations can be made by emailing chair@aimrda.co.uk
