WHO WE ARE

About AIM RDA

Aim RDA is run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about the potential of RDA and the people who need it. With more than forty years of combined experience prior to Aim RDA’s foundation, we have an excellent understanding of our parent organisation and where our own vision fits within its future.

All of our trustees fit their RDA commitments around full time jobs outside of the equestrian industry. This means we are able to bring a range of skills and experiences to supplement our knowledge of and passion for RDA. All of our coaches, three of whom also sit on the board of trustees, give their time voluntarily to run sessions.

Our Locations

Lambourn RDA

Aim RDA is delighted to collaborate with Lambourn RDA, based in Chilton Foliat near Hungerford. Lambourn RDA hosts Aim’s Saturday sessions (when they do not typically host RDA sessions themselves), using their horses and facilities. Lambourn RDA is based on a private stableyard used only for RDA sessions.

Shrivenham Equestrian Centre

Aim RDA’s first partnership with a commercial venue is with Shrivenham Equestrian Centre, based at the Defence Academy near the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire/Berkshire border. The centre is part of the Armed Forces Equine Charity, and we are looking forward to exploring how our partnership with SEC can benefit this side of their operations. Shrivenham Equestrian Centre hosts Aim RDA sessions on Wednesday evenings and will soon expand to Sunday afternoons, volunteer numbers permitting.
